

CPD Training Day for KS3 teachers – take your coaching to the next level

Key Stage 3 teachers are invited to gain invaluable insight from Team Bath’s renowned performance sport staff that they can incorporate into their own lessons and training plans at school.
Team Bath’s first-ever CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Training Day is taking place at the inspirational Sports Training Village from 9am to 3.30pm on Wednesday 9th July 2025 – please note the registration deadline is Friday 23rd May 2025.
Participants can choose to attend three of the following four sessions on the day:
- Football: Linking theory to practice in pursuit of high performance in football. Delivered by Head of Football Che Wilson.
- Hockey: Explore constraints-led coaching and learn through problem-solving for players with basic skills and high aims. Delivered by Head Hockey Coach Ian Cordwell.
- Netball: Delivering sessions to engage and support the development of all abilities; creating an environment to develop great game-players on the court. Delivered by Student Netball Head Coach Anya Le Monnier.
- Strength and Conditioning/gym: New ideas for developing techniques and tactical decision making; learning to lift and an introduction to putting together a gym training programme for beginner athletes. Delivered by Lead Athletic Performance Coach George Studd.
Many of the skills learned will be applicable to other sports and activities.
The CPD Training Day costs £125 per person which includes the coaching sessions, tea or coffee on arrival and lunch.
