Hopton and Pedersen lead success for Team Bath Players

Jessica Hopton, part of the England U19 badminton squad, led a successful group of Team Bath badminton players at the weekend’s English National U19 Championships in Milton Keynes. Athletes linked to the University of Bath produced some terrific performances at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games winning 27 medals - five golds, 14 silvers and eight bronzes. Shipperley set for hockey medal

University of Bath Sports Performance graduate Zoe Shipperley is guaranteed at least a silver medal with the England hockey team at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games after they beat New Zealand in a tense semi-final this afternoon (Friday).
