Champions complete hat-trick of titles as University hosts Strength in Depth 2016

There were some familiar winners when the University of Bath Sports Training Village played host to the Strength in Depth European Finals for a third successive year.
Wigan’s Team JST once again came out on top in the ultimate fitness test, which saw 40 teams take on ten gruelling challenges over the course of two action-packed days.
The invitational Team Reebok, a group of elite athletes representing the event sponsors, were runners-up and Wales-based Dragon CrossFit – Charlie Bravo took third place just ahead of local team CrossFit Bath, who were making their debut at the event.

Team JST’s Jon Bullough said : “It feels great. We were massively confident that we could take the win and we’re really proud we managed to get three teams here and still take the trophy home. I thought the field was stronger this year too.”
Challenges took place in the STV Sports Hall, the London 2012 Legacy Swimming Pool and the outdoor athletics track on Saturday and Sunday, all watched by a big crowd of spectators.
