University of Bath-based swimmer Jazz Carlin missed out on a medal by just four-tenths of a second on the opening night of the FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia. University of Bath swimmers won a host of medals, including six gold, during an impressive week at the British Summer Championships, which took place at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield.
